Born in London, England, Nigel Paul arrived in the U.S. a week after graduating in Psychology from Bristol University. Having decided by that summer's end to call San Francisco his new home, he first made ends meet by working for up-and-coming bands on the Bay Area music scene. Careful observation and exhaustive questioning of the many audio professionals he came into contact with during that period eventually led to him becoming an in-demand live sound engineer in his own right. He has mixed thousands of concerts, the world over, for his internationally-renowned recording artist clients.
Away from the music business, photography has long been his principal interest and preoccupation, to the extent that he now spends much of his time as a working photographer, producing imagery for private clients and event producers. He is based in Cambria, on California's Central Coast.
